Mrs. Cecil Oliver
Services for Mrs. Cecil Oliver of "Revilo Plantation" at Proctor, Arkansas, were held at 2 p.m. Thursday at the First Baptist Church in West Memphis. Burial followed in Crittenden Memorial Park at Marion, Arkansas.
Mrs. Oliver, nee Virginia Tucker, has many relatives and lifelong friends in Forrest City where she has been a frequent visitor all her life. She died Wednesday at the Methodist Hospital in Memphis. (Tennessee)
Known as an outstanding painter and the author of two books on genealogy, Mrs. Oliver is survived by her husband, an East Arkansas planter and landowner.
She also leaves tow sons, Cecil Oliver of Proctor and Tucker Oliver of West Memphis; two daughters, Mrs. Sue Donalson of Memphis and Mrs. Elanor Mejlaender of West Memphis; a brother, William Tucker III of Ripley, Tenn., and two sisters, Mrs. William T. Fisher of Memphis and Mrs. Luke Finley of New York.
