The Anniston, Ala, native had lived in Palatka since 1967, coming from Tampa, Fla. She was a member of St. Johns Baptist Church in Palatka and was a homemaker.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles N. Wellborn.
She is survived by daughter, Sherry E. Graves of Palatka; sons, Charles C. Wellborn and James R. Wellborn, both of Palatka and Richard F. Wellborn of West Palm Beach; sisters, Mary Pressley and Pearline Smith, both of Anniston, Ala.; sisters-in-law, Lillian Brakeman of Decatur, Ala. and Julie Owen of Heflin, Ala.; 10 grandchildren; and 6 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be Thursday, 10 a.m. at Johnson-Overturf Funeral Home in Palatka with Rev. L. D. Osteen and Rev. Ed Wilds officiating. Burial will follow in Oak Hill East Cemetery. (Palatka Daily News Obituary dtd 21 Jan 1998.)
