Mr. Mosley, age 73, of Purcell, was born the son of Murle Raymond and Oleta (Mitchell) Mosley.

He graduated from Lexington High School in 1955 and shortly after joined the United States Air Force. Merle was a veteran of the Vietnam War and retired after twenty years of service. After retiring from the AF he worked as a pharmacy technician for Jackson Co. Memorial Hospital, Altus, OK. While in Altus, he completed an Assoc. Degree in Arts at Western OK State College in 1979. He returned to the Purcell/Lexington area in 1981 and continued his pharmacy career at Tinker Air Force Base, Midwest City, OK, retiring in 1995.

An avid golfer, he enjoyed being outdoors, traveling and frequent visits to his favorite vacation spot, Las Vegas.

He was preceded in death by: his mother and step-father, Eddie & Oleta Nelson; his father, Murle Mosley; sister, Fredrica Donaho and daughter, Jennifer McLeod

He is survived by:his loving wife of 28 years: Barbara Mosley; 5 Children: Terry Mosley, Lt. Col. Lawrence E. Mosley, Kimberly Skaggs, Debbie Blake and Mike McLeod.

8 Grandchildren: Mitchell, Brigham, Josh & Toby Mosley, Chrissy Skaggs, Nicole Halkins, Britney & Brice Blake and 5 Great Grandchildren.

Graveside services were held with Dr. Mike Butler officiating.
