Donald was 22 years old and Twila was 19 years old when they got married. Donald was killed in a mining accident on Nov 6 1946. Second husband Norman Edward Matter Married May 1,1953 Norman and Twila where both 25 when they got married. Mrs. Matter had been employed by the former MrGregor Sportswear adn Kent Sportswear and had also been employed as a housekeeper for several area families. She was a member of the Mt. Hope United Methodist church,the John Lewis Shade Post No.6 of the American Legion Auxiliary adn the Michael Sicks Post No1785 Veteran of the Foreign Wars Auxilliary. On May 1,1953 she wed Norman Matter Who passed away on November 13,2000. She is Survived by five children Janet , Debra K., Susan M. , Jeannie C., Patricia L. Son in laws Joe, Larry, Charles, Vern, and Buddy.
Four step-children Peg, Thomas, Sandy and Cathy. Foster Son Jake. 16 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren: Kayla, Rene, Michaela, Marc, Raymond, Lizabeth, Ean, Evan Baby Boy Kerin. 9 step-grandchildren and several step great grandchildren
and the following sisters and brothers Carmen Irwin, Irene Somerville, Connie Hudson, and Joseph Hudson, Maynard Hudson, June Hudson. She is preceeded in death by her parents;her first husband Donald P. Woodside in 1946 Two sons Charles who died at the age of 5, Edward R. Matter at the age of 25; four brothers Clifford Rex, Blair, Glenn, and Leonard "Ray" Hudson; a sister Louise Stiner and half brother Doyle Bell. Twila and her husband Norman took in Richard Alan "Jake" Rowles. Twila is missed and loved by her children and grandchildren, Great Grand-children.
