PATTON — Janet D. Stoltz, 71, of Patton, passed away April 22, 2018 at UPMC Altoona. She was born Feb. 24, 1947 in Clearfield, the daughter of Donald and Twila (Hudson) Woodside.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Raymond Kerin; brothers, Ed Matter and Chuckie Matter.

She is survived by her husband Joseph Stoltz, Sr., whom she married April 29, 1989; children, Richard E. Kerin of Altoona, Tracy F. (Nathan) McCullough of Seward, William J. (Amy) Kerin of Altoona, Melanie J. (Dennis) Boose of Altoona; grandchildren, Michaela, Marc, Tyler, Zach, Raymond, Evan and Lindsey; several step children, grandchildren, great and great-great grandchildren; sisters Debra (Larry) Turner of Wallaceton; Sue (Charles) Jones of Olanta; Jeannie (Vern) Humberson of Olanta; Pat (Bud) Donahue of Paisley, Fla.; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was a graduate of Clearfield High School and a graduate of the Dubois Business School and Altoona School of Commerce.

Janet retired as the director of the Patton Senior Citizen Activity Center. She was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church, Patton, Red Hats and was active in the Salvation Army in Clearfield. She loved to sew and do puzzle books.

Friends will be received from 4 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday at Stevens Funeral Home, Inc., 1004 North Fifth Ave., Patton.

Funeral Service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home by Rev. Gary Grau.

Interment will be at Wood Side-Spring Valley Cemetery in West Decatur.
