The Bogey-Richardson Cemetery is on the southernmost branch of Bachelor (Batchelder) Creek, in Township 8, near State Route 1224 (Tuscarora-Rhems Road) in Craven County, North Carolina. The cemetery was established before the 1860s by Marcus Cicero Bogey and his wife Margaret Fleetwood, who are buried there with a daughter, Penelope, a son-in-law, John H. Richardson, and granddaughter, Fannie H. (Richardson) Matthews. All were interred between 1868 and 1878. Earlier burials probably exist, but have no surviving markers.

The Bogey home, known as the "Red House," was mentioned in Union army records during the Civil War. "Bogey Road" was also noted on Civil War maps, passing from Trent Road to the Dover Road near Tuscarora.

The Bogey-Richardson Cemetery had five marked burials when surveyed and listed in "Cemeteries of Craven County, Vol. 2" (1995). Its location is given on page 345: "Located on Weyerhaeuser property on left side SR 1224, Tuscarora-Rhems Road, approximately 6/10 mile from intersection of SR 1225, Clarks Road. Proceed down Weyerhaeuser access road 325 yards from gate, then follow fire lane on left of access road for 220 yards."
