Cemetery was desecrated and destroyed sometime in the 70s by a farmer. This was the land of the Cat Tail Plantation that Colonel John Allen met George Washington near Pitch Kettle during Washington's tour of the colonies. The original house was destroyed in the early 1900s and it's remnants gone by the 1960s. Only two partial markers survive in neighbor's yard, the rest having been thrown into the nearby branch.
