This cemetery is near Leda, Halifax County, Virginia, which was in total ruins as of 4/26/1993). From Republican Grove (between Volens and Cody), turn south on county road 647 for about 4.0 miles at which time it dead-ends into county road 667 at "downtown" Leda. Turn left and go 1.4 miles southeast and there is a tobacco barn sitting in a field on the left about a hundred yards off the hard surface. Next to the barn is a thicket with two cedars (one very large) in it. This thicket is the cemetery. (It appears that at one time there may have been a rock wall around this cemetery due to the rocks protruding from the undergrowth at this date.) In it are several small stones (foot stones?) with the initials P.M., J.J.G., M.MG., etc. There is also a monument about four feet high and about a foot square with the following inscription:
"In Memory of John McGregor, Mary McGregor, James McGregor, Permelia Monroe, Judy J. Garner, Mary E. McGregor."
