Directions:
From Highway 74, turn south onto Anson High School Road/State Road 1259. Continue until you come to White Store Road. Turn left onto White Store Road. Church and Cemetery will be on the right hand side of the road in a short distance.

History:
East Rock Ford Missionary Baptist Church is an African American Church.
Rock Ford was established on White Store. Road between Culpepper and Gould Fork Creeks. Members decided not to ford (forge) the creeks. Those west of the creek built a church. The church built east became East Rock Ford Missionary Baptist Church in 1896. Reverend W. K. Bennett of Bennettsvile, SC, pastor organized the church and served for several years.
The following are charter members: Ben Tillman, John Martin, E. H. Martin (Ezikel), Elijha Gaddy, Coleman Gaddy, Charlotte Gaddy, Dan Tillman, Lewis Caraway, Sr., Marie Hammond, Ros Horne, Malinda Pemmington, Jessie Sturdivant, Jake and Margaret Hammond, Disley Chambers, George Glake, James Gaddy, Charity Lilly, Henry Crawford, Sofronia Sturdivant, Phyllis Brooks, Lizzie Boggan, George Tanner, Mitt Lomax, Blanche Gaddy and Edward Maye.
May 14, 1898 one acre more or less was purchased from E. J. Rhyme. Later, Trustees Sherman Marshall, James J. Caraway, Simeon S. Bennett & George Flake purchased 1/2 acre from from P. T. Rhyme and wife, Julia making 1 1/2 more or less.
The Missionary Department was organized by Sister Annie C. Robinson (a representative of the Auxiliary) in 1918.
Rev. C. L. Chambers was elected pastor in 1943.
Rev. D. S. Taylor became pastor in 1975 and remains to 1994. The Missionary Young Adult Department was organized Spetember 8, 1985 by the State Special worker, Mrs. J. E. Boswell, Eddie Maye, President.
