Take route #33, Jefferson Highway (towards Mineral, Va.)
Make a left onto #605, Willis Proffitt Road
Immediately, make a left into the first house on the left of Willis Proffitt Road. This is the location of the cemetery.
Pull onto the grassy entrance by the old Proffitt house (Hidden by Hedge) (unoccupied). Park on the grassy entrance. Walk pass the house to the rear, look up and look for a very "large" oak tree, it can be seen from the street, and above the rooftop of the house. The oak tree is in the middle of the cemetery. There is a metal chain link fence around the cemetery.

Remaining stones/rocks of Old Trinity Church and the cemetery are about 150 yards north of the Old Willis Proffitt house (To the rear of the house) (formerly the Mordecai Thomasson House. He was the son of John Thomasson, a grandson of George Thomasson and Mary Pollard Thomasson) Later the home of the Proffitt family, descendants of Mordecai Thomasson and John Thomasson.
