In 1836 their daughter, Nancy Allen Andrews married Francis Gill, therefor adding burials to this graveyard under the names of Gill. Her daughter's married into the Thompson and Smith families adding their names in the next two generations.
The property was passed between Abraham Andrews' descendants, remaining in the family through the early 1900s. Due to the large number of burials in this graveyard, it is hard to determine which members of the Andrews and Gill families are buried under the quartz fieldstone markers, which have been removed. It appears that the Smith and Thompson burials, along with one Harris couple, were the only graves marked with cared headstones. All of the carved headstones have been tossed in a pile near the grave yard.
In Nov. 1902 a survey was recorded in the county of Lunenburg mapping out three parcels of property to be divided between the Smiths & Thompsons. It is explicitly stated that 3/8th acre of land was to be held aside as a "family grave yard." That land is not taxed and cannot be owned by any individual.
A survey of the graveyard prior to the markers being removed, shows six rows of graves facing east. There are 65 burials on this site, 7 having carved headstones.
