Perhaps 25 other graves with crude stones and no inscriptions.
Listed in O. E. Pilson's Cemeteries of Patrick County, VA as Cemetery #436
Enhanced directions are from Heidelbach School Road, turn right onto Union Bridge Road. You will begin down a long, sloping hill. Continue down that hill until you see a gate on the left. You will take the left gate and follow the trail down the hill. As you wind down this dirt road, you will see a grove of trees at the top. The cemetery is situated at the top under that grove of trees. At this time (April, 2021), there is a huge logging operation taking place on this property and the cemetery is identified by the only place in which a tree is standing. The cemetery is in horrendous condition with broken and fallen tombstones. Due to the soil erosion caused by the rains since the timbering operation, some tombstones may be even buried by soil. This land is posted and on the sign, it indicates that it is posted by the White Tar Hunting Club although there is no record of their existence. The cemetery appears to be on land that is owned by Dollie Bryant of Martinsville, VA however.
