This is the only section of fence that remains in 2013, the cut-off stubs still anchored in a concrete footer. Nearby neighbor Robert Hill (4105 Mylan Road) told me "In the summer of 2012 I heard a lot of grinding back in the woods, found a hispanic guy cutting up the old cars and truck wheels and asked what he was doing back there. He told me he was working for the owners and was told to salvage all recyclable metal from the property. But after the grinding quieted down I went back there and saw the ornamental graveyard fence was gone too." (A 1932 survey described it as "a fence of iron pickets with heavy iron posts spaced at ten foot intervals and a gate at the eastern end which is secured by a massive iron lock.") Rich Dohm.

The 10' Christian family obelisk is the only marker in this cemetery, standing plumb in a lot that is clearly untended and returning to nature in the year 2013, on which are engraved all the names of the Christian family that are interred here.
