Cemetery Location:
Go 4-9/10 miles west from Chatham, Virginia, on Route #57 thence 3-8/10 miles north (right) on route #799; thence 3-1/10 miles west (left) on route #694 (649?); thence 5/10 miles right on private road leading to the old Wood home and cemetery.

DESCRIPTION: This little cemetery is in excellent condition. It is enclosed by a rock wall four and one half feet high. Large flat rocks fitted together, so neatly that the corners are perfectly square, no mortar was used in building this rock wall.
There are several graves on the outside of this rock wall that have no markers, just old field stones at the head and foot, these are said to be the graves of slaves.

Sept. 2012 - I have discovered the Wood-Craft connection - they both married Harvey sisters, Tom to Frances & George to Louisa.
