"There are 3 east-west oriented graves marked with marble and concrete headstones and 1 with a footstone. The earliest marked date is 187? and the latest is 1917. This cemetery was recorded and photographed in Godburn's 1977 Historic Properties Survey; the current wire fence has replaced a ‘page-wire' type fence that existed in 1977 (Godburn 1977:52) . MacCarthy also noted the existence of this cemetery in her Phase I Archaeological Survey of 12.3 ha (30.8 acres) Fort Pickett MTC Cantonment (MacCarthy 2003)."
"The cemetery may be associated with the remains of a late 19th/early 20th century farmstead/domestic structure located approximately 100-150 meters to the southeast.
This cemetery is not marked on the 1944 Property Map but would have been located in Tract G-227 owned by J.B. Morgan et ux. Neither Godburn's list of relocated graves nor the information from Gills Bridge Road Cemetery metal markers (see Table 5) record any burials from a Morgan Burial Plot or any other from this tract."
