Add Photos"This family cemetery is located west of Birchin Lake and north of Lake Road within the controlled access danger area of Fort Pickett. This cemetery is marked as "relocated" in Tract F-134 owned by R.J. Connelly in 1941 and Lucy Williams et al. in 1944 (see Table 1 and Figure 1; 1941 Property Map). Godburn's list of graves moved to Butterwood Church notes the relocation of 15 individuals from this cemetery: Mollie Quarles, Jonnie
Quarles and 13 Unknowns (Godburn 1977, G-10). The location of this cemetery had not been verified at the time of this survey."
