Location extracted from page 10 of "Descendants of Peter and Dority Hart 1740-1995 Virginia and North Carolina and Allied Families" by Ruth Gibbs Hart and Karen L. Cooper.
"Peter and Dority Hart both died on Prather's Creek near Crab Fork area of Ashe County, North Carolina. They lived to be quite elderly for these years. Dority would have been past 65 years of age and Peter well past 70. As was the custom of those days they are likely buried in a family cemetery on the land where they had lived. Though their graves can not be found after all of these years, it is safe to say that they are buried on Prathers Creek in Ashe County where they lived the last years of their lives, close to most of their children."

The Hart Family plot unfortunately has been obliterated with to the passage of time.
There are unlikely any traces left today of the graves as they are close to 200 years old. Any markers may have been field stones at best as were the customs of the times.
