Alabama Cemetery
Also known as Chandler Cemetery , Jacob Albright Cemetery , Old Alabama Cemetery
Houston County, Texas, USA
Alabama was an important shipping point along the Trinity River prior to the Civil War. The cemetery is now located on private land, and is very hard to locate. It is overgrown, and the few remaining tombstones are broken. It appeared to have been a fairly large cemetery. The last known burial is believed to have been in the early 1900s.
