Bean-Wyatt Cemetery is located off River Road on Cedar Creek. River Road runs next to the Yadkin River between Bringle Ferry Road and Stokes Ferry Road, in the eastern section of Rowan County. The cemetery is located on a section of land formerly owned by the Noah Park Sr. family. When the owner, George A Park died, his estate was insufficient to pay his debts. A petition dated December 18, 1886, was to sell 100 acres of land to the highest bidder on February 24, 1887, 1/3 in cash, balance in 12 months with interest from date of sale. James E Wyatt bought the land for $585.00. Wyatt was a descendant of Rachel Park Wyatt, daughter of Noah Park, Dr. James Hinson now owns the property, descendant of Elizabeth Park Morgan, daughter of Noah Park Sr. Noah Park Sr. died in 1820 and is the oldest grave in the cemetery. Patricia B. Beck and Mary Jane Fowler documented this cemetery on April 4, 1983. There was 134 gravesites, many without stones, many with stones but no markings.
