Hauptscharführer Biehle was a voluntary participant in the execution platoon of 20 Dutch resistance people on 22/01/1945 on a meadow at the Woudweg in Dokkum.
Biehle was one of the two SS men who stood ready to give a final head shot if necessary.
The executions were a reprisal measure for the deadly attack of the resistance on SD man Jakob Maus and his driver Raoul de Keukelaere.
