Geraldine Mitchell,76 Obituary of Geraldine Luella Painter,Huffman,Mitchell 76 Geraldine Luella Huffman Mitchell,76 , of Pinellas Park ,Fla.; formerly of Oil City,died Sunday Sept. 17,2000,in St.Petersburg General Hospital,St. Petersburg,Fla. Born Nov.5,1923, in Fairmount City,she was a daughter of James M. and Dollt M. Neiswonger Painter. Mrs Mitchell had been a resident of Pinellas Park since she moved there in 1986 from Oil City ,where she was a homemaker and a member of the Methodist Church. Surving are three daughters,Joan C. Lowery of Beverly Hills,Fla.,Mary l. Pettigrew of Middleburg and Bonnie L. Harper of Pinellas Park ,Fla.: three sons Robert W. Huffman of Jamestown N.Y.,Gary L. Huffman of Gaines ville,Fla .,and Samuel L. Huffman of Largo ,Fla; 20 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by two brothers ,Darl Painter and Clarence Painter of Canton ,Ohio. She was preceded in death by her husband,Harvey W. Mitchell, April11,1985: and two brothers Hilton Painterin 1972 and Howard Painter in 1997, both of Ohio. Local arrangements are in charge of the William N. Rupert Mortuary in Knox.
