LAUDERDALE COUNTY, ALABAMACEMETERIES - TOWNSHIP 2, RANGE 11To reach this cemetery, turn northwest off Cox Creek Parkway onto AL to (Savannah Highway), go 0.7 mile and turn right onto Lauderdale 200; go 0.9 mile and turn right on Lauderdale 41, go 0.3 mile to the cemetery. The cemetery has some scattered trees in it, and is not in too bad a condition, even though I doubt if it has been cleaned up in several years. It looks like these people buried here, are buried according to family (with their family) and not buried in rows as is the custom in some cemeteries. Counting all the sunken holes, old undertaker markers, and rocks uesd for markers I would guess there are at least 50 unmarked graves in this cemetery. The cemetery is on the right side of the road. This cemetery is not shown on the 1987 Lauderdale County Highway Map, but it is listed on some older maps. The people buried in thiscemetery are black. The legal description is NE4, NW4, S31, T2S R11W
