Adams'

Ancestors and descendants of Henry Adams (1582/83 - 1646/47), said to be the "Founder of New England" because he had 89 grandchildren born in New England. Descendants include US Presidents John and John Quincy Adams. This also includes descendants of Henry's siblings and ancestors. It has been said by one of my cousins that my 3rd great-grandfather John Brown was a direct descendant, however this has not been absolutely determined. However, I certainly have other connections to descendants of Henry Adams, so I'm linking them to here. According to my cousin Tim, although the descendancy from Henry Adams is in dispute, it appears I'm a direct descendant of Henry's sister Mary (Adams) French (b. 1581), being a 9th great-grandson.
