Mr. James Houston Mitchem, 59, of 8101 Margrace Rd, Kings Mountain, N.C. He was a native of Cleveland County, he had served in the U.S, Army and the Air Force for 3 years each. He was also a carpenter. He was preceded in death by his parents, James Earl and Nena Eskew Mitchem.He is survived by three sons, Kenneth and Jamie Mitchem, both of Kings Mountain, Timmy Mitvhem of New Braunfels, TX. Cristy Rossi of Fayetteville, GA. And five grandchildren.A graveside service was held at Mountain Rest Cemetary in Kings Mountain, N.C. with Rev. Bob Hope officiating.
