Bio
I started my genealogy search on Ancestry in 2011. For years, I was reluctant to pay for the subscription, but when my son started college, he majored in history and showed an interest. In 2024, I decided the fees were worth it and signed up for the whole shebang.
April 2024, I decided to seriously start researching my family tree and start a paper, not just an Ancestry.com tree. I discovered FindaGrave was a useful tool and signed up for that as well (and its FREE!).
My primary research is my Fretz/Lewis and Peterson/Price roots. I knew I had Mennonite ancestors in PA, but I was surprised to find out I also have Quaker roots through the William Nichols Jr family in Purcellville, VA.
