Bio

I am currently studying for finals and finishing up coursework until May 10, 2024. I may be less active in the meantime.

I'm a bit new to Find A Grave, so I'm still learning. I work in genealogy at the Benton Public Library in Southern Illinois.

Happy to transfer management of any memorial, even if you are only distantly related, a friend of the person, or genealogist researching the family. I always believe that it is best for such people to control a memorial. Including your user number in the message will help me transfer it faster. Don't be afraid to ask. I'm also happy to accept management memorials, especially from the Southern Illinois area, if you no longer have the ability to manage them yourself. I love accept edits and add information to memorials, but please add a source or clarify if you have personal knowledge.

All photos of headstones I have taken are free to reuse without permission, though attribution is appreciated. All such copyrights are irrevocably waived under a CC0 1.0 license into the public domain. Message me if you have any questions about reusing any of my photos. President Truman once said, "It's amazing what you can accomplish if you do not care who gets the credit."
