I had never been interested in genealogy until family members passed and I found myself with SEVERAL boxes of old pictures and newspaper clippings. I could not bear to dispose of any of these things unless I first tried to link family information via Find a Grave. My husband's grandmother left a wealth of information for his family in labeled photos, handwritten information, and obituaries cut from various newspapers. It has taken quite a while, but I have sifted through these treasures and linked what I hope to be accurate information for family members and friends of family. My hope is that future generations will be interested in tracing their lineage and seeing pictures of their ancestors. My family includes Wiltshire, Greer, Guess, Carter, Dickerson, and Burrell from Mississippi. My husband's family includes McAnally, Hattaway, McDonald, Martin, and Bowen mostly from Alabama but some from Mississippi.
