Formerly the Campbell River Genealogy Club, the society has been supporting local family history enthusiasts since 1986.

Our Mission is to provide a place where people in Campbell River and area can obtain information about family history research and access expertise and resources.

Our Purpose is to promote the study of genealogy and genealogical research. We strive to maintain a library for our collection and for the preservation of genealogical, historical and biographical matter related to local, national and international family history interests.

The Campbell River Genealogy Society is available to help.
Our library, located in the Maritime Heritage Centre near the Pier, our volunteer librarians offer decades of research experience and resources to help you explore your family's past.

Our Society meets once a month, and we also host Seminars and Workshops throughout the year.
