I live in CNY. My areas of interest are Germany, Italy, Upstate NY & Mexico. My contributions are of my family members. I'm gathering my roots & getting my family history in a place so all of those we have lost are not forgotten & can be easily found at their final resting places by all who want to find them. I have created family trees both on My Heritage & Ancestry.

Another contributor on this site Frank K has a quote on his bio that I found very meaningful: "There are three deaths. The first is when the body ceases to function. The second is when the body is consigned to the grave. The third is that moment, sometime in the future, when your name is spoken for the last time."... I have made it my mission to continue to speak the names of those I belong to that I have lost (some I knew, some I never met as they left this earth before I was even born) so that there is never a time when their name is ever spoken...for the last time.
