I was born in Huntsville, AL and lived there until the 7th grade. We moved to St Charles, MO when dad transferred to McDonnell Douglas and I met my husband, Jeff, in high school. I graduated in 1983 and we were married in 1984. We had our son, Chris, in 1986 and our daughter, Catie, in 1987. We eventually moved back to Huntsville, AL when my husband was offered a job there, in 1996. We lived there until 2017 when my husband was offered a promotion that requires us to travel extensively, so we sold everything and purchased an RV and lived it in full time. After a couple of years he chose to leave the company he had been with for 23 years and started a new job that required us to move back to Texas permanently, and we landed in Gun Barrel City. We love it here on Cedar Creek Lake. We plan to retire here and spend the rest of our years making memories with our grandchildren.
