Bio

I'm a retired attorney living in the Boston area. My concentration to date has been on the Jewish Cemeteries located in West Roxbury, Massachusetts. My approach is to photograph entire cemeteries, then add my photos to existing memorials lacking a headstone photo or, if no memorial exists, create a memorial based on the information appearing on the headstone. My hope is that this approach will more quickly allow friends and families to locate (and perhaps visit) the gravesites of their loved ones and/or to assist in their genealogical research. Feel free to copy or use the headstone photos I've uploaded to memorials so long as the use is personal in nature and does not include commercial or for-profit use. Because of the way I approach FAG I manage a significant number of memorials with respect to which I have no kinship to or personal knowledge of the individual for whom the memorial was created. Consequently, I encourage family members to request the transfer of the management of memorials I've created so they may takeover management of those memorials going forward. With respect to memorials I manage relating to my own relatives, be aware that I will respectfully decline to transfer memorials in my direct line (parents, grandparents, great-grandparents, etc.) but FAG contributors requesting the transfer of aunts, uncles, cousins, etc. who have a closer familial relationship than me need only advise me of such and I'll gladly transfer management upon request.
