Bio

Hi, my name is Karin and I live in PA with my spouse and 7 cats. I don't base my life on how much money or possessions I have but rather on the love and friends/family that surround me. I live a simple life as a Social Worker of over 26 years and just recently I worked as a Special Ed. teacher in a high school. I'm willing to try anything once because I believe I'll never know what door that experience might open for me. I grew up with state forest land for my backyard and developed an intense love for nature and the environment. I love to tent camp and when I go on a photography jaunt it's usually to take photos of trees and nature in general. My favorite season is Fall and I love the color of trees and waking up to a cool, crisp morning and warming up by the campfire with a cup of Joe. I also love taking photos in cemeteries, especially old cemeteries. Why? you may ask? On graves, I've found the kindest of words, the most elegant of structures, and many, many mysteries. I feel for those who've lost their lost ones, especially with words unsaid. I've never had a blood family so I can relate to the feeling of loss. If my love of photography can help people connect with their lost loved ones I'd love to be the avenue to make that happen.
