Interested in historical genealogy and looking into my family tree, the Maxwells (of Lanholm).
My great-grandfather, John Maxwell, was shot through the cheek in WWI and survived. His brother William Maxwell (my great-grand-uncle) died aboard the hospital ship Ascania after being wounded at Gallipoli (I believe he was shot in the stomach).
