Hello! I have always been fascinated with history in general, as well as the history of my family and the stories my grandmother tells me about growing up on a farm in Moxee, Washington, after the Great Depression and before WWII. She is still with us at a spry 82. I have extensive information on my maternal side, however I have little to no information on my paternal family history. My father was born, Robert Vernon Brooks, Jr, 8/30/1953. He and his siblings (Vivian "Vicki", Diane, and brother Keith) were born BROOKS, however, took the name SCHREIBER, when his mother (TERESA METEVIER) remarried, MICHAEL JOHN SCHREIBER. It has been a challenge to find information on the 4 oldest's paternal lineage as their birth certificates don't match info past 1960. They were never formally adopted, but was raised with Mike as their father. I am interested in helping others find their family with photos of their resting place.I am more than happy to transfer memorials to family members.
