Franek Zimnowlocki was my grandfather who served in the Polish Paratroopers, jumping at Arnhem where he was injured. He recovered in Fife, Scotland where he settled and lived out the rest of his life.
At Arnhem he shared a fox hole with Stanislaw Klapouchy who was tragically killed. Papa never forgot his sacrifice and neither will we.
