Bio

I currently live in Arlington, TX where I grew up. In Boy Scouts, I earned the rank of Eagle Scout in Troop 68. I was in the first graduating class at Sam Houston HS in 1965 and graduated from Texas Tech Univ. w/ a BArch Degree in 1971. I became a registered Architect in TX. I'm currently retired from federal service where I was an Architect/Proj. Mgr. for numerous DHHS and DHUD medical const. projects all across the US.

My wonderful wife of almost 38 years passed away in 2015 and I miss her dearly. I enjoy spending time w/ my daughter and granddaughter when we can get together, since we live at a distance from each other. In the mean time, I have a great dog, Maggie Moo (looks like a cow), who keeps me company. Last year. my daughter and granddaughter went w/ me on a trip to Niagara Falls and upsate NY.

I've enjoyed working on my family history since a 1988 reunion and have made some surprising discoveries through research and DNA testing. I took a sudden trip to Plymouth and Duxbury, MA in 2016 after discovering five ancestors on my mother's side who came over on the Mayflower and were at the first Thanksgiving. It was fun taking photos on Burial Hill and in other cemeteries in MA, CT, and VT. I plan to go back to Plymouth and Duxbury in 2021 w/ my daughter and granddaughter.
