I got involved with genealogy in 2011 trying to trace my paternal roots. I very much enjoy making family connections, be it my own, or assisting others. I had a few Find a Grave volunteers get photos of lost relatives in NY and since my Grandmother, and a few friends are buried at Lakewood Memorial, I began adding some memorial pictures by responding to nearly 400 open photo requests at Lakewood. I have since been working with Lakewood staff and updating GPS for memorials as I visit. Since 2022, I've GPS mapped all of Garden of Honor, Garden of Valor, Pioneer Garden, Memory Garden, Hillside Garden, Garden of Resurrection, Garden of Flowers, Chapel of Light, Chapel of Meditation, Mausoleum of Faith, the 3 Serenity Mausoleums, Skyview Estates, Chapel/Mausoleum of Remembrance, Chapel/Mausoleum of Devotion, Chapel of Peace, Chapel/Mausoleum of Resurrection, Chapel of Reflection, the Mausoleum Expansion, Guadalupe Garden, Garden of St. Jude, Tuolumne Garden, Tuolumne Garden Monuments and South Tuolumne Garden. I'm currently (Apr. 2024) mapping North Hylands Garden. If I've added a memorial for a relative or friend of yours, and you would like to take ownership of their memorial, please let me know and I will happily transfer their record to you. I try to take detailed pictures of a grave site, but not all my pictures are perfect, for that I sincerely apologize. If you take a better picture of a site, or would like a better picture taken, please let me know and I will be more than happy to comply and delete any pictures that are subpar.
