When my younger sister was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer, she passed the time during treatments and as she became weaker doing research on our family. When she died in 2015, I picked up where she left off as a way to feel like she was still with me. Then I discovered how much fun it was to do family research and found a new hobby! I spent a LOT of time on Ancestry and only recently decided to be more active on Find a Grave.

I'm pretty good and thoroughly researching things and prefer to corroborate before just wildly adding information left and right. If you find something that needs correcting, please let me know--especially if you're long-experienced in this "hobby."
