Fur Trader, Metis, hanging out with some of the biggest and baddest gangsters Michigan had to offer in the 1800's lumber boom era. I am a 5th great grand daughter to Jean Baptiste. Their son, William Deverney, to Jacob Deverney, to Cecelia Deverney to my mother, Sylvia Mapes. Still raising the 6th great grand daughter, and welcomed his 7th Great Grand daughter November of last year.
