I was born in Birmingham, Alabama in 1957. I have lived in Winston County for most of my life. My family has a very strong history here in Winston County. I am a Christian lady, wife, Mother, Grandmother and Great Grandmother. I love gardening, the outdoors, and genealogy. I believe it is important to know where you came from.
I started researching our family when I was 27 and I am now 62. I work on both mine and my husband’s family. I am always thrilled to find new family/cousins, and I’m working on a few brick walls as well.
My family surnames are Bell, Hill, Harris, Lovett, Posey, Manasco, Stewart, Smith, Finley, and others.. My husband’s family surnames are Thomas, Tidwell, Seymour, Howell, Walker, Cates, Pair, Riddle, Welborn and others.
