Bio

My name is Connie Elstun and I am a Denver Colorado native who recently opened up my Ancestry DNA.

Born to unwed teenage parents in the Colorado Foster Care Program and then adopted at the age of 5, with a full name change in 1964, I really had no idea who I really was. Using online Ancestory tracing services and several historical resources including, Find A Grave I have mapped out an incredible Family. Find A Grave helped me locate my own American history all the way back to the Revolutionary War and my Great Grandfather X7 who served under George Washington and survived Valley Forge.

Unbelievably and all in all, they helped to find the gravesites of over 80 ancestors who enabled me to write an incredible personal history for my Grandchildren. I hope to pay this wonderful gift forward to others looking for their history. My bloodline is predominantly Welsh, Yaqui Native American from Mexico, English, Spanish, and Germanic.
