Bio

Loner who likes to walk cemeteries.

Started off here by just photographing requests.

Realized that wasn't enough, so started photographing headstones by the alphabet.

Then realized most of my captures weren't already memorialized.

So now I add memorials as well, as it turns out a lot of cemeteries are highly under-reported, at least around here.

I'm fond of adding GPS as well, if that's all that's needed.

I work a fairly small area of Central New Jersey, and I try to go where the requests are neglected, so I ricochet a bit between places, but I usually walk a whole one through before moving on. I plan to circle back to make all that I work on as complete as I can, though that could take a very long time.

It's about the process for me; the discovery. It's very gratifying to find a stone that someone, somewhere is looking for. I love the 'reunification' part of it, and I'm glad to help.
