Bio

I have been doing genealogy since 1972, after I realized I had 5 direct lines back to the immigrant Jacob Greib/Cripe. My second favorite hobby is cemetery research. I along with a friend, Patricia Johnson, with the help of the Elkhart County Genealogical Society published cemetery books for: Violett, West Goshen, Oakridge (Goshen) & Rice, GraceLawn & Prairie Street (Elkhart). I started the 'For Cripe's Sake", "Elkhart County, Indiana..A view of the Past" & "Exploring cemeteries of Elkhart County, Indiana Facebook groups, along with 30 other groups relating to the elementary, middle, Junior & Senior High Schools, in Goshen. And also the 7 High Schools that were consolidated before 1970 (Bristol, Jefferson, Middlebury, Millersberg, Nappannee, New Paris & Wakarusa) and my free time I volunteer at the Goshen Historical Society Museum.
