My genealogy journey began with a quilt I inherited from my mother. It had names stitched into it, and I wondered, who are these people? I did google searches and found obituaries, which led to their parents' names and more searching. I became interested in Family Search and Find A Grave and began contributing. And the rest is history....literally, it's HISTORY and it needs to be preserved!
