Bio

In 1993 a co-worker introduced me to Family Tree Maker software. Long before there was "Ancestry". I did nothing with it until my uncle, Giles Chesterfield Haynie, passed away in August 1993. I spent my bereavement time starting my family tree. It has grown from the Haynie, Ray, Ward, Hopper lines in Alabama to Georgia, South Carolina and Virginia. My lines, of course, have expanded the further back I go. I have met a lot of generous folks who have shared their research. If anyone approaches me, I am happy to help.
