Bio

I am currently in the process of photographing every headstone in Parkdale Cemetery in Arlington Texas. I know that someone else did it, but it was done in like 2003. (Here's the previous database of headstones. http://teafor2.com/321.htm ) I have also spent a considerable amount of time trying to link family members together that are buried in Parkdale and Arlington Cemeteries. (located in the same plot of land)

UPDATED 4/11/2024-- Each marker in Parkdale Cemetery has been photographed an uploaded to find a grave. I know that that won't stay that way, because more people are always moving in. There are a handful of homemade/unreadable markers that I (or others) added as unknown.

I recently got into genealogy and I have used the information on this site to build my family tree. I am trying to pay it back by taking photos of headstones/graves in my area.

My father's side of the family includes the names of Kerley, Massingill, Gilbreath, Haney, Turnbow, Barbee, Berryhill and Portman.

My mom's side includes the names of Rubarth, Garner, Whitehead, Barnes, Ross, Bradford, Cooper, Hazzard and Smith.

William Bradford, from the Mayflower, is my 11th great grandfather. Captain David Hess Garner, who fought for the independence of Texas, is my 6th great grandfather
