Bio

My name is Tricia & I am from a small town in southern New Jersey. My profile photo shows my father in 1985 visiting Gettysburg, Pennsylvania where the Battle of Little Round Top took place, July 1862. My father died in 2013 & I am proudly following in his footsteps with his love of all things history, specifically genealogy & the American Civil War.
You may visit & leave a flower for my father here: Michael Omar "Mike" Farley .
Thank you.
My family is primarily from New Jersey with origin in Scotland, England, Netherlands & Germany. My family tree surnames include Paternal great-grands: Farley, Lippincott, Kille, Hook; Maternal great-grands: Nipe, Horner, Lewis, Norton. My husband's family comes from West Virginia, New Jersey & New York with origin in Ireland, England, Belarus & Lithuania (Russia), Italy, Germany & Canada. Surnames of my In-Laws include Paternal great-grands: Quinn, Dodson, Ruane, Jacobs; Maternal great-grands: DePew, Pelham, Lynch, Lindsay.
I have researched & updated memorials in the following Southern New Jersey cemeteries (thru the Suggested Edit feature) to the best of my ability:
Pedricktown Friends Cemetery (id# 1769467) in Pedricktown,
Perkintown Cemetery (id# 2155964) in Oldmans Twp, First Baptist Church Cemetery of Pedricktown (id# 1654290). Currently researching Woodstown Baptist Burial Ground (id# 229437) in Woodstown, as of June 2023.
Keep in mind, new information/sources are constantly being digitized & becoming available via different websites/catalogs/databases, so further information may become available after I have "completed" my research on a memorial. I would also like to assure you that all of my Suggested Edits have at least one source to back it up, which I can provide if needed.
I feel it is very important to reunite the deceased with their loved ones when possible (digitally) so I try to link family members as often as possible.
I am more than willing to transfer a memorial to a loved one with an explanation of your connection, so long as they are not a direct ancestor of mine.
You may use any photos I have added to cemeteries & memorials, no permission or recognition needed. I believe if you have taken the time to search out a memorial here, you have good reason, therefore you may use any photos or information I have provided. However, if I included a source other than myself, please include that with your own usage of the photo or information.
Find A Grave is a wonderful way of connecting to our loved ones, and I truly enjoy being a part of this community!
Thank you to all who use this site for what it is meant for, connecting & accurately representing those who have gone before us!
Take care of yourself & be kind to others.
