I started doing genealogy research in the mid-2000s and am enjoying finding out about my ancestors and cousin lines - the good, the bad and the ugly. Also like feeling more connected to history by seeing the lives of those who lived it.

Except for one twig that snakes up into New England, my family is from the South since before there was a USA. The restless ones seem to have kept moving west until my twig ended up in California via Texas.

I can’t run around to photo graves but I try to fill in and correct information in memorials when I come across it. -
