Bio

I manage the Searcy Family Archive, a digital and physical archive for the Searcy family. I'm willing to take over any Searcy memorials. My goal is to add missing memorials, add photos & info, correct misinformation, assist the genealogical studies & improve loving memorials within the family.

I'm in the 10th generation of Searcy's born in America, the first being John William Searcy 1694 to 1786. We call that the "John & Phoebe line" which represents about a third of the Caucasian Searcy's in America. According to Y-DNA the other two lines of Searcy's most likely come from one generation before John. The only known Searcy in America at that time was Robert Sercey who came to America as an indentured servant in about 1694 (first record of him being here is in 1695). There is no record of his children but it's likely all three lines of Searcy's come from him.

If you are interested in Searcy family history, or have anything you'd like to add to the Searcy Family Archive, please email me.
