Bio

Current areas on interest in genealogy include tracing my direct paternal immigrant ancestor Charles Steward (1657-1725, md. Grace) back to the U.K., possibly to Thomas Steward (md. Joane) in Westbury on Severn, Gloucestershire, England, and my direct maternal immigrant ancestor, Henrietta Schuchardt (1813-1865, md. Gottlieb Stephan) back to the Continent, possibly to Agnes (md. Otto Schuchardt) in München, Bayern, Deutschland.
When Scott Engel Stewart was born on February 9, 1969, in San Antonio, Texas, his father, Sam Ewell Stewart, was 46 and his mother, Nina Helen Engel Stewart, was 42. He's left Texas for an extended period only twice, first to Washington, DC to obtain a Doctorate of Jurisprudence at Georgetown University Law Center and then to obtain his Master of Laws in Taxation from New York University Law School. He currently practices as a corporate tax attorney in Fort Worth, Texas. He has one brother, John Mark Stewart, and one sister, Nina Elizabeth Stewart Campbell.
